Healthy food For kids under 6 - Fruit Popsicles
- Take the favourite fruit of your child. You have to select fruits that can be pulped like Mango, strawberry etc. Pulp the fruits and turn them into a puree in a blender. Add some honey if your kid has a sweet tooth.
- Pour it in popsicles mould and freeze for at least four hours. Once the popsicles are firm, serve them to your children under 6.
Apple Waffles For children between 6-9
- Core an apple. (Take out the centre part including the seeds from top to bottom) Cut rings of it ¼ inches thick that will have a hole in the middle. Add some butter or peanut butter on both sides.
- Preheat a waffle iron or a pan and place apple slices in them, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.Turn the slices around and cook again. Both sides should become brown.
- Crumble some gems in a plate. Place the cooked apple slices in it with both sides down by turn. Serve to children straight out of the freezer.
Fruit sandwiches for kids between 9-14 years
- This is the simplest recipe. Slice the favourite fruits of your child. Apply jam to and put the fruit slices and your fruit sandwich is ready.
- To make the fruit sandwich more interesting, add some butter to the bread slices and grill them just a little. Apply honey on the bread on the lower slice of bread and jam on the top slice of the bread before placing fruit slices in.
